Possibilities:

Ceremony: There are many opportunities for music in a ceremony depending on a couple's preferences. Usually a minimum of 3 songs are selected: the procession, signing, and recession. There could also be prelude, interlude, or other planned moments for music.

Coordinating a couple's musical selections with the officiating minister or justice of the peace doesn't take very long, but it's a critical step in the planning of music to which we pay close attention. We also have experience working in the churches which makes it easier for us to coordinate with ministers who sometimes resist "outside" musicians.

The types of instruments and musicians available for a wedding ceremony through St. Hilaire Music include: Piano, Organ, Voice, Flute, Violin, String Quartet, Cello, Harp, Bagpipes, Guitar, and others, although these are the most popular choices.

Reception: Music for a reception is not usually specifally chosen beyond specifying the style of music to be played by the hired musicians such as jazz, classical, top 40, etc. It's usually more important to hire the right type of musicians for the theme and atmosphere of the reception. I work with many bands, ensembles, and soloists and some possible musicians for receptions include: Piano, Voice, Flute, Violin, String Quartet, Cello, Harp, Guitar, Jazz Trio, Jazz Quartet, Jazz Ensemble, Big Band, and Cover Bands which can cover anything from top 40's, 80's, country, rock, or even themed event music like beach themes, 80's themes, jamaican, etc.

Once you've received a username and password, click on the link below which will redirect you to a form to complete with your wedding details as well as a list of song samples to choose from. Be sure to print a copy for yourself before submitting the form and closing the window or all your information may be lost. Costs:

Ceremony - These rates include 20 minutes of prelude music as guests arrive and the entire ceremony from procession to recession.

Reception - It would be best to get an exact quote dependent upon your reception details, however these rates could be viewed as the cost for the first hour; rates usually decrease after the first hour.
